05 MAY 08
Artist Management and Development - started Feb 2004
This new part of my work came about due to various work projects, continually crossing the paths of various folks in the music industry, and too many other
aspects to keep pushing aside.

Over at Groove Tubes, they have their "friends and relations" list.  These are some of the most well known names in the industry.  Many of these folks are given
"consideration" by companies that they may support or endorse.  Most of these folks are established and known.

I have seen a lot of untapped talent.  I have supported many of you that may be reading this.  I am at a point in my life where I feel that I would like to shift some of my
time and talent toward the stronger support of this talent.

Much of this is still in the development and planning stages, so this area of this website may change a lot in the near future.

My basic thinking in the support and development roles will be described below.

This may not be American Idol or Talent Search on TV, but with almost 300,000 folks that hit this website, and the few folks I work with in the industry from the past
decades, this may be a second best shot.
Vocalists - If I have anything to do with getting your voice on tape or disk, it will probably be through a ViPRE.  This is
the Rolls Royce of mic preamps.   This is the only mic preamp that has ... well, rather than list it here, hit the photo with
your mouse and read all the GT ViPRE stuff and testimonials.

If you do not have access to a ViPRE, I will supply one.  That is part of my support. The choice will be left to you and
your engineer.
Equipment support -

There is NO WAY I am going to let you perform or record with stuff that is not top notch.

This covers a WIDE scope.  This includes free Blueprinting of your own amps, support of your own amps.  If I do not
like the amp or guitar you are using for a particular project, I will get the right one in your hands.   If you are not in
my area, I will be more than happy to work with your amp tech.

This will also include artist endorsement support.  I know a few folks that make guitars, amps, and assorted studio
"stuff".  Sometimes getting things a bit cheaper may be a bit of help for some folks?  I think so!
Since I am still putting this all together in a more formal fashion, for now it will be easier to just list bullet items, and perhaps enhance these down the road.

1.  Artist Management - work with you directly, assist in the production and engineering of your product.

2.  Artist collaboration support - Stuck on a technical aspect or creative aspect in writing or recording?  I will do my best to support your effort.

3.  Playing live or in the studio - I will support you locally during sound check or in the studio.

4.  Equipment Support - I will keep your stuff working to the best of my ability.  Amp service and Blueprinting.

5.  Song Writing - I will put you in contact with folks that may be able to help in this area.  I will also work with you directly.  Using email and file transfer a lot of the
work, and in some cases all the work, can be done virtually remotely.

6.  Amp mods - I have two amazing folks, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast.  You'd have to pay these guys, but they would give you a healthy break.

7.  Vocalist support - getting the proper mic in your face and the right equipment in the signal chain to record direct is my top priority.

8.  Portfolio development.   I know some of the best photographers and video folks in the industry.

9.  Production / Engineering / Distribution -  I will supply my own time in these areas to help you in any way I am able.

10.  You're a singer with no band?  A Bass player without a band?  I will be developing an artist registry that will have folks listed on this page and their contacts.
Hook up in your area and see if there is any magic.

11.  Remote production - If your work is based on the major common platforms, you can send me files for recording engineering support.  My hourly rate is waived for
my clients.  We can ship files back and forth to create a final finished and polished product.
How do we get started?

Send me an email to my GAB address (
myles@guitaramplifierblueprinting.com ) and that will get things rolling.
Featured Websites of Bands  - (click on the
URL names or band)

These are some of the first to catch my attention and
will be the current bands or folks of focus.

What about some folks with writing talent looking to
have their songs produced?  There is more money in
publishing than is usually in playing.

AGE: 23-27

GENERAL LOCATION (city, state): Boston, MA

MUSIC AREA OF INTEREST (rock, country, blues, jazz, etc.): Rock

A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF (use as much space as you'd like):
We're a 4-piece rock band that can also play as a 3-piece 'acoustic  trio' as we call it.  Our lead singer, Patrick Walsh, has a beautiful  and powerful voice, the kind that turns
heads at a bar.  We're playing actively in and around Boston, developing a surprisingly loyal and growing fan base already (after just a handful of shows).  We all have the
drive and dream to make it, and we fully recognize the hard work it takes.  Our songs have a folk influence, but are also inspired by rock'n'roll and have a modern and
distinctive sound to them.  They're both pretty and powerful, with poetic and intelligent lyrics.  We're highly accessible; not in a generic watered-down TRL kind of way, but
as demonstrated by our gaining attention from all sorts of demographics: college kids, young urban professionals, middle-aged, etc etc.  We'd love to talk to you to know
more about what we can do for each other.

I have been playing guitar for around 22 years. Mostly slinging in local metal bands. as my current band winds down I am looking to break out of the old styles and really

different styles like raegae, blues, whatever strikes my fancy.

NAME: Stone

AGE: 27

GENERAL LOCATION : currently in Berlin, Germany

MUSIC AREA OF INTEREST : rock

A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF : OK, here's a press bio on my band/project Frogcircus, maybe it will explain that better than I do...

Emotion and passion. That is what you get from FROGCIRCUS on stage and on the records. But yet, FROGCIRCUS has never been an easy band to define. Some call it
power-pop, others just guitar-loaded rock with melodies, and some have gone as far as defining them as a band with one foot in London and one in Seattle. Because it’s
not an easy task to label three-and-a-half minute songs that include impressive pop melodies with huge charges of guitar energy. Something as if Brian Wilson and Paul
McCartney had decided to get together in a room to write perfect songs, but had bumped into Kurt Cobain and the Foo Fighters on their way there.   More on the website.

NAME: Broken Romeo
AGE: 32-39
GENERAL LOCATION (city, state): Tucson, AZ
MUSIC AREA OF INTEREST (rock, country, blues, jazz, etc.): Melodic Rock, Alternative Rock
A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF (use as much space as you'd like):
Broken Romeo is a melodic alternative rock band that was formed in Tucson, AZ. They have had many successes, including the recording and release of two well-
received albums, Retribution and the self-titled Broken Romeo. Both albums were successful and received substantial airplay on Arizona radio stations 98 KUPD in
Phoenix, and 96 KLPX in Tucson. The success of these
albums lead to many opportunities, including opening for national recording acts such as Social Distortion, Screaming Trees, Babylon AD, Junkyard and the UK Subs,
among others. Broken Romeo regularly headlined shows on the west coast and throughout the southwestern region. Record labels Epic, Capital, and Virgin Records
also displayed an interest in the band, and have attended showcases performed in Hollywood CA. In 2002 Broken Romeo returned with a new line-up and renewed
vision. Founding members James Turpin (vocals) and his brother Steve Turpin (guitars), have been joined by new members Loren Wessel (bass) and Bill Strickland
(drums). Together they wrote and co-produced a full length CD Temptation. This album features a collection of songs that represent a wide variety of styles from the
alternative rock genre, from the melodic acoustic oriented song, to heavy guitar driven hooks. Temptation has been featured on local radio stations with phenomenal
response. Broken Romeo strives toward great success with their music, both locally and beyond, and continues to record new material and play live throughout the
southwest. In January 2004 Broken Romeo released an EP with 5 brand new songs including "Coming To See You", "The One" and the live favorite "Barfly". The band will
follow the EP up with a full length CD in the Winter of 2004.

GENERAL LOCATION (city, state): Detroit, MI.

MUSIC AREA OF INTEREST (rock, country, blues, jazz, etc.): Rock, Jazz/Fusion, World, Jam.

Have toured extensively to support the cd (and continue to) in NY, LA, OH, PA, IN, WV, MI, and constantly looking to expand to other markets. Have opened for Bill Bruford's
Earthworks, CAB (Dennis Chambers, Tony MacAlpine, Bunny Brunel, Brian Auger), The California Guitar Trio, Darryl Stuermer, and Tony Levin. Have also played at the

I'm gaining interest in the Film/TV markets for use of my existing music, as well as composing scores. I will aggressively be pursuing this area in the very near future (As
soon as my home recording set-up is finished).

I'm an endorser for Euphonic Audio high-end bass amp/enclosure manufacturer, as well as EMG Pickups.

I've been nominated for three 2002 Detroit Music Awards; Best Instrumentalist, Best Songwriter, Best CD "Galaxy Rodeo." Didn't win, but it was still fun to see my name
mentioned at the awards ceremony. :)

Featured in the Winter/Spring issue of "Progression Magazine," along with Alex Skolnick. Continue to generate some great press in the various cities I play gigs in, thanks
in part to my talented, and hard-working publicists.

Looking for a capable booking agent, and manager to take me to the next level; one that shares my enthusiasm and vision, and can negotiate well.  Would love to go on
tour as an opener for a decent drawing act (who wouldn't!), then hit those same cities in smaller clubs as a the featured act.

Also looking for people in the Film/TV/Gaming industry that are looking for some truly unique music for their projects. I don't ask for much, do I?

NAME:  Superdrive (Shelli Holleran, Shane Holleran, Ken Travis, Aaron Cornish & JC Holleran)

AGE:  31-51

GENERAL LOCATION (city, state):  Elmira, NY (Upstate)

MUSIC AREA OF INTEREST (rock, country, blues, jazz, etc.):  Heavy Rock/Metal

A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF (use as much space as you'd like):

Superdrive is heavy. Whether heavy means blistering in-you-face music with no apologies or deep and soulful _expression, Superdrive is all of that and more. Superdrive
is the perfect balance between beauty and chaos. Superdrive was started by Ken Travis (bass) and Aaron Cornish (Guitar) in the fall of 2001. They added second guitarist
JC Holleran in February of 2002 and went through several drummers before finding a perfect match in Shane Holleran. With the instrumental line-up of the band complete,
female vocalist Shelli Holleran was convinced to join the fold and add her unique melodic balance. Shelli is a professionally trained vocalist with a range that is
unsurpassed by anyone in the area.

Superdrive has a natural and uncontrived formula. Ken and Shane create a huge and solid foundation for the band that is tight, with undeniable groove. Aaron and JC build
upon this with crushing and authoritive rhythms layered with atmospheric innuendoes. Shelli's intensely melodic, soulful and haunting vocals intertwine and float above
this monstrosity to make Superdrive like no other band. The band has it's own style that is a common thread throughout all of their songs, yet each song has it's own
personality. Each songs is an individual experience. Their arrangements are intriguing and infectious.

ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OR COMMENTS:  We are looking for someone to take us to the next level. To shop us to the labels and put us in contact with anyone that
can help us make music our career. We have a little different circumstance than a lot of bands. We are older for one (ranging from 31 to 51) and a few of us have careers.
So we are not in the position to be able to tour the country playing countless shows in hopes of getting someone's attention like a lot of young bands can do. We have
responsibilities that we must take care of. We would love the chance to make a living off our music, but we would have to be able to take care of our responsibilities. This
being said, I think we have a lot to offer. I think that by us being older we are a bit more mature about things and we would like to think that we have good heads on our
shoulders. We believe that we are unique but still can write songs with great hooks and melodies that pull people in. If given the proper chance we are talented and driven
enough to achieve our aspirations.
